There's ups and down with ADD, and once you start neglecting certain tasks, it's easy to continue neglecting them. I see I have three followers now. Apparently I get more attention when I'm gone. Joking aside, I actually have been getting some stuff done. I finished the 7-page preview of my comic, which is a big accomplishment. I have been blogging regularly on my comics blog. I've been keeping my life in relative order with occasional hiccups in the flow of things. I dunno, I feel as though the decision to start things comes easier compared to a year ago.
I've decided to continue my artistic self-education and take on a medium that I put off learning for the past two decades. The colored pencil. I received this book, The Colored Pencil Painting Bible, and it is unbelievably thorough. I read about ten pages every couple of days, which is pretty impressive for me, and it's starting to make alot of sense. I'll start putting these techniques into practice probably when my wife and I go to Hawaii the first of February. I'm pretty excited about it. We are meeting my sister, brother-in-law, niece and nephew there and staying a week. I think it will be really relaxing.
Time to go read some comic books!
